Zayandeh
< Back to project
Zayandeh is the name of the largest river in Iran's central plateau, which runs through the city of Isfahan. Paradoxically, although it is synonymous with fertility, the scarcity of water and the extraction of its resources upstream has led to the river running dry since 2010.
